To ensure that the products we manufacture are 100% oxo-biodegradable we are using technology provided by ADD-X BIOTECH AB, a Swedish bio-tech company. All of our products consist of Addiflex, the brand name under which the company markets its line of additives.

Products made from Addiflex are recyclable like most plastics as well as have the same strength as conventional plastic products. If they are exposed to sunlight or are buried they have a limited lifetime because they degrade due to light, oxygen, moisture, temperature and ultimately oxo-biodegrade due to the same micro organisms that cause the biodegradation of natural materials such as wood, straw, leafs, etc.

AddiFlex is approved to come in food contact by Health Canada, NormPack (Sweden) and has FDA Status (USA). Moreover, AddiFlex also fulfils the demand of the: European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste according to Article 11 Concentration levels of heavy metals present in packaging. Moreover AddiFlex does not add sulphur or cobalt or any salt related to those mentioned metals to the let down polymers and hence is non-toxic.
